Pound for pound, Barn Owls consume more rodents – often regarded as pests by humans – than possibly any other creature. ✿ We remind viewers that sometimes owlets may not survive - the parents will dispose of things in "The Owl Way" -viewer discretion is advised, this is nature and the "Owl way". ✿ ~ ✿ “Animals, like us, are living souls. They are not things. They are not objects. Neither are they human. Yet they mourn. They love. They dance. They suffer. Adventures with Mel and Syd

Enjoying the game of Owlsome Trivia from afar & not wanting to disrupt the silly banter, the non ID female waited until the game was over to make her appearance.

She landed on the porch 9:06pm to congratulate the winner coyotemommy.

Mel steps out and with camera lag still shows the female still on the porch

Mel outside

Camera lag shows the female flying off while still on the rooftop
Mel was overcome with joy, danced his dance & deeted his sweet songs to her. Wanting him to come out to play their favorite game of follow the leader, she flew off 9:16.

Mel moved to the front to see where she went. Not wanting to play just yet, Mel stayed. She returned 9:41 for him then took off 9:42. Mel getting the hint ;) stepped out & departed 9:44. Flybys spotted 10:48, 11:22, 11:56, 1:23am & 4:07.
Mel spends the sunny day out in the palms and the Kastle remains empty.
