SNN (ScrollingNetworkNews) ✿ ✿ Our Mel and Sydney returned to their nesting box with plenty of bonding occurring..but after 2.5 months of Sydney in the box from Dec 2013 to mid Feb 2014, the lack of prey gifts from Mel ( perhaps due to the severe and historic drought underway in California)and they have forgone the nesting process this year as many other raptors ✿ Compared to other owls of similar size, the Barn Owl has a much higher metabolic rate, requiring relatively more food. Click and Clack take their first swim in the duck pond

Click and Clack are a pair of stray Khaki Campbell ducks who wandered into an auto repair shop in downtown Medford, Oregon in May, 2012. The nice people there took them to a rescue agency that transferred them to the SanctuaryOne a couple of days later. In this video Click and Clack go for their very first swim in the 250,000 gallon pond we've built for rescued ducks and geese to enjoy.
