Pound for pound, Barn Owls consume more rodents – often regarded as pests by humans – than possibly any other creature. ✿ We remind viewers that sometimes owlets may not survive - the parents will dispose of things in "The Owl Way" -viewer discretion is advised, this is nature and the "Owl way". ✿ ~ ✿ “Animals, like us, are living souls. Adventures with Mel and Syd

Sounds of last night incoming deets, loud screech & chitters starting right after sundown Wonder what Mel & Syd’s conversation was about? Maybe, “Honey please move the horks a little more to the front”.

Again incoming screeches & deets of 2 owls heard 6:47pm with Mel landing on the porch 7:13 with a thud. He went in straight away deciding to rest up the entire night.
Screech heard 9:01 after that, Mel returned to napping, stretching & preening.

Will we hear Mel’s precious deets calling for his lovely bride at sunset (4:42p OBT) or shortly thereafter?

Join us tonight 3 games in play-

  1. FFN -First Flight of the Night
  2. “Spot the Owl” and of course
  3. “Owlsome Trivia- start time 8:30p OBT”.
