These owls are currently being raised by the Northwest Raptor & Wildlife Center in Sequim. The 14 baby owls include 12 barn owl chicks, one orphaned Western Screen Owl chick and one barred owl chick with an apparent brain injury. The rescue group hopes to return as many of the chicks to the wild as possible. A dozen baby barn owls were raised and released last year.
