A friend of mine in the Brit royal air force told me a story about when he was a pilot in the Falkland Islands and he'd fly in low from the ocean towards land to the airfield.On the beach were multitudes of nesting penguins, all watching intently every time a plane would approach the coastline...
as the plane flew overhead, the penguins would all follow it watching, beaks going further up towards the sky, and bodies leaning back as the plane went overhead ....
and together, 10,000 penguins would all lose their balance and fall over backwards in unison ... amid squabbles of indignation and confusion!
