Masked Stranger

Yesterday morning, a raccoon investigated the box and groomed itself before finally settling down for a nap. Raccoon's explores its environment with its ultra-sensitive paws and prefer to den in hollow trees and logs or ground burrows, but this one has found Wings Barn Owl box at an agreeable substitute.

The Nest box in Italy Texas seems to be very popular with other visitors as well like Kes the Kestrel who spent one month at the box and the squirrel who was a one day visitor.
I wonder what will be next?
