Space junk hits our owlbox

Friday morning, NASA said the something has happened to the spacecraft.
The old research spacecraft was targeted to crash through the atmosphere sometime Friday night or early Saturday putting Owlceanside Ca in its crosshairs. The best guess is that it will still splash in the ocean, just because there's more ocean out there.
On Friday night, NASA said it expected the satellite to come crashing down between 11:45 p.m. and 12:45 a.m. EDT Saturday

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) – According to NASA's official website, the decommissioned Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite fell back to Earth. NASA said Saturday that the 20-year-old UARS has hit Earth, making it the biggest spacecraft to fall uncontrolled in 32 years.
Gee thanks Space junk!
