Suspense heightened as the day came to a close. With the Prey Box (PB) replenished, we waited with anxious anticipation The cams changed to night viewing & within minutes the evening unfolded. The 3rd Owl –UFO, raided not once but twice (see video below) before Adi stepped out 8:33pm. We heard deets, chitters & screeches between at least 2 owls. Was Adi conversing with UFO, Hunter or both? Whoever it was, the sound was sweet, not threatening, bringing smiles to many.
Adi couldn’t wait to show us her new ability, landing in the PB (prey box) & retrieving a treat 9:23pm

Around 11:53pm Hunter made her appearance delighting all & putting any worry to rest. Adi greeted her on the roof.
They exchanged chitters, Adi asking Hunter how her day went & Hunter explaining how she hunkered down to kept out of sight (valuable lesson learned for a 64 day old owl).
Since no treats were placed on the playground for easy retrieval for Adi and Hunter, they had to utilize the feeding box and shortly before 2:00am both retrieved treats from the PB. It seems as though they are in the process of passing yet another classroom test. Way to go kidz. Hunter again was seen retrieving a treat.She brought it to the playground, a few gulps then gone 4:39am.
She stayed close to the Kastle and went in 5:00am. We thought she would remain inside but she stepped out then flew to the left side of the playground looking for Adi. As soon as Adi heard the crows,she came home 5:35am & went inside. Hunter landed on the roof 5:43am, Adi came out to tell her to get in remember the crows? Hunter didn’t need much convincing. They both went in Hunter 1st followed by Adi.
