Adventures with Adi and Hunter plus 1

The dinner plate
(Prey Box) was set with the Kastle serving up 8 critters. We waited to see who would drop in to partake. The UFO helped itself to 5 treats when kanga did the count.

Not knowing if the Kidz dined, the Kastle was wakened approx 2:30am. A quick check revealed the dinner plate was not empty, 2 leftovers.  So who got the other treat?

The chef quickly prepared a 2nd course of 4 & while serving reported, “the owls did the right alarm calls when I invaded their path of the yard.” Shortly afterwards, we observed 3 helpings disappear (2:53am, 3:04am & 3:20am) which meant 3 left.

Was this the same owl all 3 times? It was very hard to identify, for the owl(s) snagged & dashed.

We did see Adi drop in & dine at the table 4:06am. She had very good table manners. She finished before flying off. Hope these owls left a huge tip for our wonderful chef.

One of the highlights of the evening according to our ground reporter Kanga was, “…all 3 owls were sitting close together on the left end of the pg...” This happened approx 10:21pm.

Adi appeared on the roof 5:44am but where was Hunter? Adi left to find her.

Sunrise came and the crows cawed, indicating too late to be seen.

The Kastle is empty. Have Adi, Hunter & UFO become friends? Are they spending the day with the UFO at its roosting spot? If not, where nearby are they hunkering down?
