As soon as the sunset, both Adi and Hunter were up and ready for dinner but the weather turned.Rain began late afternoon and continued throughout the night.
The rain in Oceanside hit again at the kastle after 11:30pm and when rain hits we know it makes it harder for our Mel and Syd to hunt. The critters remain inside their hideouts and the owls lose the ability to fly silent with wet wings and their element of surprise is lost.
A very wet owl (Mel or Syd) makes a gopher delivery at 12:51am. Hunter moved so fast we couldn't id the treat, a few gulps and it was gone. Only after reviewing the recording we were able to determine the treat was a partially unzipped gopher delivered by Mel. Rain is forecasted again for Monday night.

On Sunday, kanga again broadcasted the hummingbird feeder.
What a nice way to spend the day watching the different species getting a drink of sweet nectar. <wink>
