Adventures with Mel and Syd

Mel left for his FFN 8:41pm followed by Sydney 8:45. She went for a quick outing swooping up to what looked like the palm tree and then back down and returned at 8:47pm.

Mel scanned the skies, swooped down, snagged a first treat, returned at 9:10, gave it to Syd,

bonded then left 9:14. Some thought it was a gopher while a few wondered if it was a small squirrel. She wasted no time swallowing it.

 Mel returned 10:07 with 2nd treat – another gopher. After bonding he took off 10:08. Syd still full from the previous meal placed the treat in the pantry for later. 

 An owl landed on the playground 11:39-11:43. Was it the 3rd owl or was it Mel? 

Later in the wee hours of the morning Syd opened the pantry & dined savoring every moment leaving the cupboard bare. Mel spends the day in the tress and she spends the day alone in her nest brooding her four eggs.
