Yesterday was full of sweet sounds of 2 owls in love, chitters, bondings & squeaks. Mel took good care of his lady preening her then kissy face (smooches).Last night was more of the same. They finally stepped out for their FFN - Syd 7:23pm, Mel 9:39pm.
What an active night!!!
It was very difficult to keep up with our game “Spot the Owl” with them.
With the inside camera being down & knowing Mel & Sydney were in the box, a 3rd owl landed on the palm cam 5:25 then entered the Kastle 5:40. As far as we could tell no fighting (see video).
It left then Mel came out 5:43 to survey the area. Determining all is well he went back in.
Both are in for a 2nd day in a row.
